Boxed website with full width background colour

  You can set the background for your site in Betheme -> Theme options -> Global -> General:

  Hiya,

  I don't think I was clear with what I am asking. I would like my website to have an overall white background. The actual content of the website to be boxed. However some elements I would like to extend the background so it is full width. I have attached a screenshot to show the elements I would like to have the extended background on.

  So you want to have boxed layout but with some exceptions, and some sections should have background extended to the whole width, right?

  If yes, there is no option to do that, and if you choose boxed layout all sections must be boxed.

  You can add margins to the section, so you can try it as a workaround.

  There must be a better way to have the background colour stretch the full width and the content boxed then having to mess around with the margins for every section?

  I want to have the actual content of my website boxed but I want the background colour of my footer to be full width and also certain sections within each page for the background colour to be full width

  So you must use Full width layout in Betheme -> Theme options -> Global -> General:

  

  With it, content is the same width as the Site width unless you set the Full width option in the section settings.

  Also, the section background will always stretch to the entire width unless you set margins to the section.
