Menu on action bar?

Hey,

nice theme, but to me it would be perfect if could show menu links on action bar. i am using WebDesign site layout and option to show menu on right,

Would like to have a design with just 5 images on homepage and menu on right corner. Is it possible?

Hi Steve,

if you got "Action bar" activated, you can have menu items in the right top corner of course. To do this, please create menu under Appearance > Menus section and then under Appearance > Menus > Manage locations, please set menu for "Social Menu Top" field.

Hi,

thanks for quick response. Would like only to show menu in the right top corner, but after I put menu on "Social Menu Top | depth 1" theme also automatically shows menu on "Social Menu Bottom | depth 1" so it shows 2 menus. Tried to put empty menu to "bottom menu" location, but it didnt helped, still shows same menu on 2 locations. How can only show 1 menu and only in right corner?

not in the footer, 2nd menu is on same line as logo, but dont want t osee it there. Made a pic. Want to only have 1 menu on right corner.

almost ok, now don´t show 2 menus, but also need to use "Custom Menu" option, but it don´t work, shows main menu, not the custom menu I put. How can make custom menu option to work?

Now you got "Action bar" menu so this is what you asked for. And because of this we are confused now and don't know what you need. In previous message you clearly wrote that you want to remove main menu and want to keep only additional menu which is on the Action Bar.

Sorry for jumping into this thread, but is there a way to add a menu to the left side of the action bar, so as to not replace the social media icons?

Hey,

I want to have different menu links (custom menus) on different pages, but somehow now if change one menu then theme changes all (put same menu on all the pages). Put on the page http://abc.webberry.eu/fk-keskus/ custom menu: menu(välikardirada) and it changed it, but it also changed the menu on homepage and on page: http://abc.webberry.eu/viimsi-sisekardirada/

How can make the custom menu options to work again?

@kardihull If you want to set different menus per different pages, you must use "Custom Menu" option under "Page options" section for each page.

After adding which code? CSS? It is not possible. If you want to be sure, remove the code which you added and check then because this is the only option responsible for menus. And if this won't work, you must re-install wordpress and theme files via FTP.

Hey,

made a new subdomain and added WP and theme files via FTP. Before adding codes I understood what can be the case..try to explain...

1. Added custom menu to homepage menu with 1 link "Home" http://lahendus.webberry.eu/

2. Added custom menu to 1st page (after click on 1st image) with link "About webdesign" http://lahendus.webberry.eu/fk-keskus/

3. Added custom menu to 2nd page (after click on 2nd image) with link "What we offer" http://lahendus.webberry.eu/sisekardirada/

On page http://lahendus.webberry.eu/fk-keskus/ I see 2 menu links (2 different menus) "Home" link and "About Web Design" link

Now I want to use only the custom menu (link About Web Design ) on top (where the "Home" link is). With code you gave it will hide the custom menu link, but I want to hide the "Home" link and to show custom menu on top.

This code will hide custom menu: #Top_bar .menu_wrapper { display: none !important; }

Hopefully you understand my question and can help me with it.

Ok, we got it now. But as we see, you use "Secondary menu" instead of social icons. And unfortunately with this feature it won't be possible to set different menus per different pages. This is possible for main navigation only.

Ok I understand, then I think best is use fixed menu, but cause have dark background need to change this light area color on top http://newweb.webberry.eu/

1. How can change it color? And would like to test how it will look if it is transparent. How to do it?

3. How to change that all menu links (not just active) have this blue highlighted background?

1. To change top bar background color, please use below css:

#Top_bar { background-color: #000 !important; }

but to make it transparent, use below css:

#Top_bar { background-color: transparent !important; }

2. This can be done with below code:

#Top_bar .menu > li > a span:not(.description) { color: #FFF !important; }

3. Do you mean to add background color for all menu items by default?

thanks for quick response. Used transparent and changed the color and ok, but need to have black color links also if scrolling down..on the moment white and dont see the links. How to also change it?

Hey, all ok on estonian page, but after adding WPML plugin on 2nd languages seems custom menu dont work on 2nd language (finnish) What can cause it?

Added menu with no links but shows one 1 menu link (also copied all from estonian page CSS)

Hey,

i dont understand, on Estonian language (main language) i put main menu under Appearance > Menus and all ok, but on Finnish language there is not this menu (cant make with same name or add translation). Can you check?

Tried to add "Menüü 0" so would not show any menu links there, but still shows.

Access details were removed because it's not allowed to post them public. However we have checked your site and as we see, you use social menu instead of main menu, right? And it does not look like you described. On Finnish site we see menu but on Estonian we do not. Did you tried to deactivate all extra plugins except WPML? If you did not then please try. Otherwise, please send us private message with access to your dashboard because we can not keep them public.

on Estonian language all like I need, on homepage custom menu without menu links and on another pages custom menus, but somehow cant get it work on 2nd languages. Plugins semms are not problem, because on estonian language all ok, think it have to be WPML set up, but dont understand what exactly, you cant see it?

To be honest we also do not see it. We checked your dashboard yesterday and we did not found anything wrong. Also there was nothing wrong in the code or in the console. Did you tried to contact with wpml support team? Because maybe in this case they will be helpful as we really have no idea what may be wrong. Also please switch to default wp theme and check if it works the same as with our theme. And if any of these steps won't be helpful, then please send us private message with details and i'll pass this access to someone else who may have a look on it.
