404 errors when adding a new Betheme template
We have a site running Betheme 27.6.5 that has 404 errors when we create a new template.
We do not want to update Betheme at this time.
All other plugins have been updated, changed the child theme to Betheme to test, a new version of Betheme uploaded and still having this issue. Please see the image:
Will email creds. Are you able to take a look?

Hi,
Why do not you want to update the theme?
It is best to have Betheme up to date, and it could be resolved in the updates since 27.6.5.
Also to check it properly we need the newest version installed.
Best regards
I received your private message, but can you provide more information about why you do not want to update, please?
Thanks
Because it introduces different errors. And at this point, we need to get the work done to be responsive to our client.
The different errors are that the BeBuilder backend doesn't show some (existing) settings (margins/paddings for example) and updates are not reflected on the front end although they are on the backend. We've seen this on some sites updated beyond 27.6.5. Re-rendering Builder data & regenerating CSS do not resolve this problem. Plugins have been deactivated & theme reverted to Betheme to rule out child theme issues.
In this specific case, Betheme was updated beyond 27.6.5 and it added those different errors mentioned above.
If you want to update and solve both problems, please go ahead. We have a backup to return to where you are starting.
Thank you for your help,
Terry
I have updated the theme on your website to the newest version, and I do not see the problem with margins/paddings you mentioned. Are there any particular pages with this problem?
Regarding the templates, it seems that your server causes it.
Please contact your hosting provider and ask about the following errors from the browser console:
Thanks
Please help me to understand what you were doing to receive this error.
I would have expected it for the previous version/support ticket for the site version at http://threechord.bekea37.sg-host.com/ (b/c http staging site) however
not for this staging site at https://three-chord-bourbon.websitepro-staging.com/ (url included in the email). I am not able to view those errors in incognito Chrome browser.
The different errors related to update appear to be resolved now, thank you.
Since we're trying to move the header & footer into templates, need that functionality.
Thank you,
Terry
Did you contact your hosting provider?
What was their answer?
Best regards
I am not seeing the errors on our hosting, https://three-chord-bourbon.websitepro-staging.com/
if you can share how to recreate the errors, I can submit a ticket with hosting.
When creating a new header template, here's what we see. Aren't you seeing this as well? Those cookie errors are not present.
I did observe the error on the staging site created on a different hosting, SiteGround, at threechord.bekea37.sg-host.com which is why we provided you access to the site at https://three-chord-bourbon.websitepro-staging.com/
If you would be so kind to open a ticket with your hosting and send the screenshot with errors I attached before.
Thanks
Submitted & here's the reply from our hosting:
Please advise.
Neither our team nor our hosting can duplicate this error.
It was on the Siteground version, not the version at https://three-chord-bourbon.websitepro-staging.com/. If you are able to view the error at that url, please share how and we will resubmit a ticket to our host.
Warm Regards,
Terry
Sure thing, here you go:
If it makes any difference, I am checking that on Firefox.
Best regards
We did submit a support ticket to our hosting, they are not able to duplicate the problem.
Would it be possible to double check functionality, especially in Chrome?
Warm Regards,
Terry
To do a deeper investigation, we will need an FTP access to your website.
Please send it privately along with WP dashboard access and link to this forum discussion.
Thanks
Sent.
Note that the live site is at (please don't make changes here)
/wp
The staging (where we are working) is at
/staging
Thank you for your help.

Best regards
