Sidebar missing in blog pages
in Blog
Hi,
From Betheme v28.1.1 (and .2 and .3), if I set my home page to latest posts (to be clear: if my home page is a blog), no sidebar shows on it, no matter what I set in page options or in global options. All other pages, posts, archives and so on work perfectly.
I set a page as blog page in Betheme blog options as per instructions.
I have several blogs on different domains and providers but all of them suffer from the same issue.
In all cases if I change theme, sidebars show regularly.
If I revert to Betheme 28.0.6 everything works fine.
Can you help?
Thank you in advance.

I sent everything you asked. Since I made a test site as a copy from the original one (in order for you to feel free to move as you prefere), Betheme registration code is a duplicate from the original site (www.unoduetre.eu). If needed I have just bought a license not yet used and can give you the code.
This said, I add some informations that could be useful for you, since I am a developer:
1) For what I could track down, the problem seems to lay when the theme calls mfn_sidebar() function in sidebar.php and gets a null return value for $sidebar['sidebar']['first'] but even if I force the variable to get a correct value the sidebar appears but at the bottom of page (should be on right side).
2) I tryed to track down the call sequence and, in the end, I found that if i substitute the file /wp-content/themes/betheme/functions/theme-functions.php with the same file from 28.0.6 version, the sidebar appears in the right place (but I can't obviously say what else is not working anymore).
3) versions 28.1.1, 28.1.2 and 28.1.3 show the same issue.
4) I have one blog on OVH hosting, one on Siteground and one on Infomaniak the issue persist on all providers.
Waiting for an answer,
thanks for your time
Francesco

I haven't received any mail from you. I sent you a message yesterday through the contact form, which is on the right side at https://themeforest.net/user/muffingroup#contact.
I just sent it again from the same form.
I am answering directly from the web app and monitoring your answers from the same place, not through emails. I checked also with my server, no mails from you at all.
Oh... by the way.. I registered the theme in the meantime.
Let me know if you receive my message.
I attach a screenshot of the sending

We have corrected it on your website, and it will be included in the upcoming update.
Best regards
Thanks a lot!
Can I have some hint on the problem? I mean... where was the issue? Just professional curiosity!
Francesco
There was a condition that checked if the blog page was set.
We removed this condition from Betheme.

Thank you!
