Single Product conflict with Yith Add-Ons Plugin

Hi!

I'm brand new to WooCommerce and am a bit rusty with WordPress. I found the BeTheme product while looking up how-to videos and liked the drag and drop options it provided. So far I've been able to find my away around, but have found one issue I've wasted hours trying to fix.

In all of the single product templates (even one I created), the Qty and "Add to cart" button are appear on the left of the add-ons, when I would like it to appear at the very bottom after the calculated total. I'm using the YITH Product Add-ons & Extra Options plug-in since each project will need these add-on options with additional costs associated with some of the options. And I'd like to include these options across the board for certain product categories.

Prior to installing the BeTheme, I was using GoDaddy's "Go" theme and the add-on info appeared perfect...it didn't force the QTY or Add to Cart button to the side, as if creating a column like it's doing now within the BeTheme appearance. I've tried adjusting all the options that I can within the YITH settings and nothing fixes it. If I put the options before the cart button, it just move the QTY and Cart button to the left side of the column of options.

Screenshots:

Preview of how the QTy and Cart button appear on the right side of the add-ons options. I'd like it to appear below Order Total and above the "Meta Data" block, rather than be forced into a new column within the "Add to Cart" block. I've also tried making the "Add to Cart" block the full width of the page, but it still puts everything into 2 columns.

These are the settings available within the YITH dashboard. Nothing seems to move the QTY and Cart button out of the column.

These are the content settings on the Single Product theme options. I've also tried adjusting these in several combinations and nothing fixed it.

How can I fix this? I'm not savvy with custom CSS to know how to modify it to work.

I know WooCommerce has an add-ons extension, but it has a costly annual subscription that doesn't seem worth the price. I'd love to stick to YITH if I can, knowing it worked find before switching to BeTheme, and because the free version should work for what I need (the paid version has stuff I'll never use).

Thank you for your help!

  • Hi,

We did not test this plugin with the theme. Our policy states that we do not support third-party plugins or custom code, and we cannot recommend any plugins other than the ones we support. You can find the list on this page:

    https://support.muffingroup.com/documentation/bundled-plugins/#compatibility

Anyway, if you attach a link to your website, I will check what can be done, as it seems to be resolvable with a minor CSS tweak, but I do not guarantee anything.

    Thanks

  • @Phil My site is still being built. Hopefully this link works. It's the current test product that I've been using to try to perfect before adding over 1,000 different other projects. So I need to make sure I have the right setup, ideally with keeping YITH, before proceeding. I appreciate your help!

@Phil It looks like I just need to put the QTY and Cart button inside the "YITH Wapo container" and it'll move it where I'd like it to go. What sort of CSS code do I need to add (and where do I put it) to fix this?

  • @Phil I was able to figure out how to move the Quantity and Add to Cart button under the total price table (with the help of AI generating the CSS patch code). I'm starting to get the hang of things!

  • I am happy to see that you are handling this.

If you have any other theme related questions feel free to ask.

    Best regards
