  This logic doesn't work well - because the purchased product that is waiting for payment is already shown as purchased.

  i.e. - it shows the purchased video despite the status "Pending payment / on hold / Processing"

  I fixed it in the code/ conditional-logic.php

  	  $successful_payment_statuses = array('wc-processing', 'wc-completed');
  

  to

    $successful_payment_statuses = array('wc-completed');
  

  and it works :) but will it be possible to choose whether to always remember to overwrite this file?

  Our conditional logic is based on two statuses, "processing" and "completed", and "processing" signifies that a customer's payment has been successfully received, and the order is now awaiting fulfillment.

  Are you sure that it appears on "pending", or "on hold"?

  Regarding not losing changes, you should use the child theme for that.
