WPML worked but doesn't work

I have installed WPML and it was working for my first 2 translated pages but it is not working for my new translations.

Some says it was generated but if i go, it is an empty page.

  • I have sent you the details of FTP and dashboard access via contct from.

    Also, my header and footer changes to the basic theme setting for multilanguage.

    When i check the customer header and footer template, it is written it is for Entire Site but it doesn't respond as well.

    Where shall I be checking?

    Also I haven't locked any specifilc countiries etc but if it still doesnt work, can you provide your ip so that i can make sure its not blocked?

  • After entering login credentials, the "Forbidden" page appears.

    Do you not have any regional restrictions set for your website? We are located in Poland.

    Hi can you try it once more?

    I didn't have any ban as in country but, apparantly the hosting company had /wp-admin/ in restricted directory for security purpose for foreign access so i removed it so should be accessible now.

  • Hi, I don't know what magic you did but if you check all the pages currently with the gear button, like

    CEAD, MX3D, those you all see in gear box that reached 100%, if you view them or etc, translation is at 100% but if you view them or load them it is an empty screen.

    Also since you managed to publish japanese, I tried it in Korean for the "ABOUT" but it have reached 100% for translation Que and Approved everything but it is still stuck in Progress.


    The path flow i took was

    Translatation Dashboard -> Translate certain page -> assign to myself -> go to translation page in WPML -> Translate ->Reach 100% Que -> Save and Finish -> but it is still stuck in Que. If i manage to pass this stage, it still shows a blank page like for CEAD.

    I only opened the translation and finished it. That is it.

    It seems that your translations are stuck in "in progress" status even though they are 100% translated. It would be best if you contact WPML support regarding this issue.

  • OK so you are saying also for the about, you just assigned translation and it was done?

    So you are also saying what you are seeing is unusual right? that it is stuck in que in 100%.

    Also any reason why pages like cead is blank? while about page is editable?


    Also for Header and Footer, how do we apply it to entire translated site as well? I have checked and it is suppose to be on entire site but it is not applied.

  • 1) Yes, I made the translation for the about page, completed it, and done.

    2) Indeed it is unusual, but translations are done by WPML, so you must contact their support to know what is wrong.

    3) In the WP top bar, switch the language to another in which you have translated the template, edit it with BeBuilder, and save this template by assigning it to the entire site.

    Hi,

    Regarding this as well, I have changed the Language and edit it with be builder as well and saved it to entire site but still the same. as you can see in bottom, we are in Korean Mode and and the header is on Entire site using the template we created but it shows the basic BETHEME Header.


    If i change the logo in apperances, as I did for the logo, that works. So it seems like the Template is getting cancelled out same with the footer but the Wordpress setting is having hierachy. How do we resolve this?

    I understand what you mean but as you see, I just don't get why some times it works and sometimes it doesnt work.

    As you see, now somehow Footer Works. I tried it for Header and Japanese Works and Korean is again stuck in an endless que where nothing changes.

    This is already my 4th or 5th license of BeTheme because everything worked very well so far but this time I just don't get what is happening anymore. Can you take a deep dive into this as if it doesn't work 100%, ok may be something is wrong. But now it works and doesnt work and works and doesnt work.

  • Ok Somehow After many times of refreshing etc., now I do have the header and footer translated.

    If it takes time for changes to happen, I get that there could be a drawback.

    However for Pages like CEAD, MX3D and others, its been there already like 3-4 days and it is just the empty page.


    Worse case scenario, is there any way to do create multipages manually and just transalte the contents on the betheme builder?

    Basically Export Import the page, and then translate manually.

    I feel like we are going no where right now.

    Also I don't get why this is all happening because Betheme was the first theme installed after I installed Wordpress in this domain and DB.

    2nd Plugin i installed is WPML.

    You say both are fully compatible so nothing should be crashing. But it is.

    I hope for a promt reply.

    As I explained to you twice before, Betheme does not influence translations.

    Have you contacted WPML support as I previously suggested?

  • Yes WPML are getting nowhere as well.

    Regarding Translations, i get that Betheme doesnt influence translation. What I am saying is it is not replicating the post so that it won't even allow me to manually translate the post or page. I get that Translation etc is WPML but at least Betheme should create a duplicate page with the synced contents so that we can translate manually.


    They are also saying its solved and if i say it is still the same, they say its solved again but nothing is done again.


    Ok are there any other compatible pluggins that you suggest other than WPML?

    I understand betheme says WPML fully compatible but for this site it doesn't seem to be the case and no one is being able to figure out so I want to try another supplier.

    What other Multilingual pluggins do you recommend? I get that it won't be 100% compatible as you say with WPML.

    its not like I have changed this site's theme from another theme to Betheme.

    It was initially configured as Betheme. All the Pluggins installed is your recommended pluggin.

    Also for Multilingual pluggin, we didn't install any other pluggin than those we were told to be installed by their installer.

    I have turned off all firewall setting so it shouldn't be my host server blocking.

    The reason I purchased WPML in first place was because you have released that it is fully compatible.

    However it is not working. Its not like I purchased a 3rd party pluggin that is not recommended and nagging on to you.


    Your company was the one who said it was fully compatible and we went ahead and bought the additional addon.

    I feel the support I am getting is very irresponsible.

    I have been telling you from Day 1 that pages like CEAD is not translating and you keep on saying other things work.

    So I am saying Fix CEAD and tell me what was wrong so that we know what the issue is.


    Sorry for the frustration but it has already been a week and its not like I am asking for you to code my website.

    All i am asking is please make the pluggin work because your company said it is fully compatible.

  • Let me clarify a few key points because it seems there’s some confusion here:

    1) BeTheme does not support or guarantee compatibility with any translation plugin other than WPML.

    2) BeTheme itself does not handle translations.

    The theme only passes an array of strings to WPML. The actual process of translating content, syncing strings, managing language domains, etc., is handled entirely by the plugin, not the theme.

    3) There is no bug in the theme.

    Based on what you’ve described so far, and what we checked, there's no indication of a problem caused by Betheme. The issue you're facing seems entirely related to WPML configuration or usage.

    4) We strongly recommend that you clearly explain your problem to the WPML support team.

    If WPML “used to work but now doesn't,” then it's very likely something in your environment (e.g., plugin update, language settings, caching, etc.) changed — not something in the theme. WPML has a dedicated support team that can help you troubleshoot the problem based on your exact setup. You only have to explain to them precisely what is happening and what is wrong.


    We understand your frustration, but please direct it where it belongs: this is not a theme bug, and we cannot provide further assistance as the problem is related to WPML.

    Hi Wil well understood.

    Also I have another bug. After I have installed WPML, for new pages, I cannot export and import page content.


    For example I am trying to export contents from

    with bebuilder but it doesnt work like before.

    I tried copying contents from other pages but those doesnt work too.


    Can you look into this as this is betheme?

  • There is an error related to the memory limit. It means that the 256MB you currently have is not enough for your website.

    Please contact your hosting provider to increase this value to at least 512 MB, but the best would be 1 GB.

    After that, the issue will be gone.

    For anyone with similar issue, the issue was

    PHP 8.4 at the moment doesn't work well with WPML so it had to be downgraded to PHP 8.2


    Also 2nd part was it was working but somehow only 70-80% of the link was working and was told 256mb for php limit would be enough but like BETHEME said, it only started working smoothly after the limit was increased to 1gb.


    Those 2 were fixed and everything was running smooth and solved!
