ACTION BUTTON doesn't work

Hello, I have an ACTION BUTTON enabled on my website that directs users to a section further down on the page. The section has its own ID, and the link is correct when set up like this: mywebsite.com/#ID.

However, it simply doesn’t work. The first time it worked perfectly, but suddenly it stopped working. What can I do?

  • Hi,

Please always attach a link to your website so we can check it out. If the page is offline(localhost), then our help will be limited. You will have to contact us when the page is online. Also, please make sure that the page is not under maintenance before you provide us with the link.

It is always a good idea to also attach a screenshot showing your issue.

    Thanks

  • Thank you very much for the response,

This is the link to the website: https://direktio.com, the action button is “conversemos.” In the main banner through Revolution Slider, I also implemented the same functionality to go to another section of the page; at first, it worked, but it has also stopped working.

The section I want to go to is the form section before the footer.

Thank you very much for your help.

  • First of all, you have section ID "lead" doubled:

You cannot have two sections with the same ID.

Also, one of the sections has the entire URL as an ID:

Please correct these and check if the problem persists.

    Thanks

  • Thank you very much for your help.

Regarding the second point you mentioned, I have already fixed it. It was indeed an error where the entire URL ended up being used as the ID.

But I have an additional question about the first point:

There are two sections with the same ID because one of those sections is visible on desktop but not on mobile (desktop view of the form), and the other one is the opposite — it is not visible on desktop but is visible on mobile (mobile view of the form).

When I remove the ID from the mobile section, it works, but obviously it no longer works on mobile.

Is there any way for them to coexist? Or is there any way to make it work? I had to create a mobile view for my form because I wasn’t able to achieve a fully responsive visualization that looked good.

Again, thank you very much for your help.

  • To achieve that, you would have to create a header with the Header Builder that has two different buttons for desktop and mobile, as you cannot have two sections with the same ID, even if one is visible only for a specific resolution.

    Best regards
