Look and feel in Edit mode is messed up

Hello,

After installing the latest version of the theme in my site www.comeo.com and visiting a page in edit mode, I got a message that the database had to be rebuilt. This was done, but since then the page in edit mode is not wysiwig anymore: no background colors or images, positioning is off.

I added a screenshot of a page in edit mode and one of that same page, published on the site.

Luckily this did not affect the published page.

Can you please fix this?

    Hi,

    Please go Betheme -> Tools, and use the CSS update option:

    After that, check if the problem persists.

    I have disabled your plugins, and the issue was gone:

    To find the culprit, disable your plugins one by one.

    OK, I did what you asked, and it is the Elementor plugin that causes this behavior. However this is shipped with your theme, and so the latest versions of both are not compatible anymore.+ this is used on my site for the footer.

    Can you please provide a solution for this, as disabling the plugin is not a solution?

    VERY IMPORTANT: I noticed that my complete footer is now gone, all of this caused by the update of the theme. Can you please also get back the footer??

    I checked that, and it is not Elementor itself, but the "Ultimate Addons for Elementor Lite" plugin, which we do not support.

    I have left this plugin disabled, so you can verify it.

    Hi, OK this has been solved now, so the ticket can be closed. However I want to point out, that I had to redo the whole footer as it was made in Elementor, and a lot of settings like background colors and positioning were lost after the update. I manually corrected everything because this was urgent, but I think for other users, it might be a good thing to check if this was due to the last updated of the theme.

    I have another site knoware.be also using BeTheme, I will check later if I have the same behaviour...
