Last item in Menu is displayed incorrectly

Hi there,

I have problems with my menu template on nmt4.nmdesign.de

The last item in the row is displayed incorrectly, as soon as I have more than an undefined number of menuitems displayed. I have recreated the header, same effect. I have recreated the menu, same effect.

Now I think it is your turn ;o)

Please help investigating the problem.

BTW It all worked properly until "something" happened. Don´t know what this "something" was, an update or anything else

  • In the meantime, I have removed custom CSS and Custom JS in the theme options, also no effect.

Also, the sticky menu is completely broken when scrolling down.

  • Hi,

You have <b> tag that is the culprit:

Please check your menu in Appearance -> Menus, if you did not place it somewhere in your menu.

If it is not there, check your header template.

Thanks, Phil, for your prompt reply!

Yes, I saw that as well but did not know what to do or how to get rid of it. Where would I look out for this since within Apperance -> Menus there is nothing really to format, isn't it?

Also, I have completely redesigned the header and the menu, and the problem still occurs.

Also, I have reinstalled the theme to avoid a mistake that I however created within the theme files.

Everything is fine, until I add the ninth menu item. Then the struggle begins, never mind which item is the ninth. Therefore I really do not know where to look for that problem.

    Regards!

  • Hi Phil,

    credentials have just been sent.

  • In the Mega Menu, you have unclosed <b> tag:

Edit this mega menu and correct that.

Oh my goodness, that was what I was supposed to look for?! Thanks a lot, mate. I have learned a lot today. You can consider this case as closed.

But maybe one more quick question concerning the menu:

I personally find it a bit annoying that the menu disappears when scrolling down just to show up again a second later. Is it possible to show the menu all the time, without disappearing when scrolling down?

    Best regards!

  • That is why you should always ensure that you put HTML tags properly. 😉

I am glad I could help.

    Best regards
