Neither WordPress nor BeThemes can be updated

Hello, I can't install the new WordPress update or the current BeTheme update on the customer site "https://www.dl-computer.de/." Can you help me?

    Please explain in more detail what is happening.

    Do you have any error messages?

    If yes, please tell me what it says.

    If the problem occurs not only for Betheme but for WordPress as well, it might mean that the root cause is your server configuration.

    Hi,

    All I know from my client is that hackers were at work and he received a request to pay Bitcoins to keep the website running. As I said, the WordPress update won't install, nor will the new BeThemes.

    There's no further information. Can you help me?

    Since the client has his own clients in the IT sector, he doesn't want anyone accessing the FTP server, which would mean I could only set up a BeThemes admin account for him.

    If the website became a target of a hacker attack, then it is not a Betheme-related issue. We can help if the issue comes directly from the theme or there is any malfunction, but not in such a situation.

    In this situation I can suggest to revert a backup of the website from before it happened, change all the passwords to things like WP, hosting panel, database, etc., removing all unnecessary and inactive plugins, and update plugins, theme, and WP to the newest versions.
