Hi,
Please explain your question in more detail.
It would help if you attach screenshot showing what you refer to.
Thanks
When the website loads, the two lower options (sliders) are enabled by default. Where can I configure all sliders to be disabled by default when the website loads?
There is no setting to make these options disabled by default.
Best regards
Another problem is that if you reject all cookies, all sliders should be disabled, right? But if you open the cookie window again, the options are still active. Why?
Which file can you change this in the code? Then we'll do it manually. What's the name of the file?
1) That is how it was designed. If you suggest that settings should be disabled after reopening, we will consider implementing this feature.
2) The file responsible for it is placed in betheme/includes/gdpr2.php.
Best regards
Thanks, but unfortunately I can't get it to work.
What code snippet should I add to the input?
The checkbox shouldn't be disabled, but should be set to "off" by default when the website loads.
What you ask for requires file customization, which, according to the Item Support Policy, is not allowed. http://themeforest.net/page/item_support_policy
If you want to modify files but don't know how, you should contact your web developer. Item Policy says:
Item support does not include services to modify or extend the item beyond the original features, style, and functionality described on the item page. For customization services that will help you tailor the item to your specific requirements, we recommend contacting the author to see if they privately offer paid customization services or checking out the great service providers on Envato Studio.
Thanks
Hello
Under the GDPR, all non-essential cookies must be disabled by default, requiring users to actively opt-in to their use through an explicit action. This means cookie banners should present pre-selected "off" options for non-essential categories, preventing tracking cookies from firing before user consent is given. Essential cookies, necessary for the website to function, can be active by default, but users must still be able to refuse other cookie types.
How can I implement this behavior?
Also, how does BeTheme know which cookies there are on the website?
Also, what's the point of having a reject button and all options remain selected?!
According to this message:
Our team has accepted this feature, and it will be included in the next update.
Best regards
ok thanks
