Swipe content on mobile

Hello.

I would like to modify content on the site to be swiped when on mobile rather than stacked. Here is the sample page:

There are service cards and testimonials. On mobile, they stack. I would like these to be arranged where the visitor can swipe left to right.

I have tried the slider element but that seems to be reserved for images. I have also tried the testimonials element. But I am not able to add the "card" look and star rating.

Please advise.

  • Hi,

You can use Query Loops for that.

    See the following video tutorials:

    Best regards

  • I am trying to figure this query loop out. Do I add the "Testimonials" element into the section?

In the query loop settings, I have selected posts, testimonials and then the varius settings. I am trying to make the section look and function like the demo version:

Can you help with the settings, style and options?

My testimonials won't have any client photo. But I like the icon and box idea. Please advise.

    Thanks.

  • Did you watch all the videos from the playlist I sent you?

Can you specify what you struggle with, please?

    Thanks

  • I watched the videos in the playlist. I am having trouble with the following:

    1) I added the "Testimonials" element to section.

    2) The query loop is set to Testimonials.

    Here is the output:

It is displays the testimonials multiple times but within itself. I don't need the arrows or the 3 dots within the entry. The slider dots are fine.

I'm trying to achieve something like this:

However, I don't need the client photo.

Is there a set of wrap settings along with element settings I need to follow?

  • Do not add the testimonials element to the Query Loop. The testimonials element is a loop itself, so you are putting a loop in a loop.

You must build the Query Loop layout by yourself, as shown in the video tutorials, using Dynamic Data.

So if you want to display, use title and content, only use {title} and {content} dynamic data.

    Best regards

  • Thank you, Phil. That helped immensely.
