Hi

How do I disable the uploaded by Author details from each post in portfolio?

Hi,

you can do it in Theme options > Getting started > Blog section. There is option called "Author Box".

and also is there a way to fit the image to the width of the box or vice versa?

Please take a look at http://snag.gy/dq8Cg.jpg and let us know if this is what you want to remove because we don`t see any other author section on your page.

But if you want to fit image to the width of the box, you must upload larger image (larger widget then height especially). On our demo we use 1200 x 800px images size.

yes that is exactly what I want to remove. Would be great if there is a way.

Will try to put in larger image. But if there is a way that the box automatically fits in, would be great. or if i could set the dimensions? thanks.

So to remove this author section, please use below css:

.post-meta .author-date .author { display: none !important; }

But unfortunately box can`t fit to the image. We can only give you css to remove this border at all if you want to use current images.

To remove border around image, please use below css then:

.single-photo-wrapper .image_frame { border: 0 !important; }
.image_frame .image_wrapper .mask { box-shadow: 0 !important; }

This is project description and can be removed only with all other details that are in this section. For that you can use below css:

.single-portfolio .project-description { display: none !important; }
