is there any way we can have testimonials in columns side by side we can have either 4 columns rather than rows?

Like as we thought. But this is unfortunately not possible. Testimonials can be full width only. Or instead, you can use "Blockquote" item but this won't be slider. But blockquote item can be used as 1/4 width so you will get similar look to what you showed on screenshot.
