  • Hi,

http://pasteboard.co/1mJ2w3c7.png - this is the screenshot from Google Chrome. As you see, social icons works fine.
  • Hi- i have cleared all the caches, it is the most recent version of betheme and have checked on two different computers on chrome and have heard from other people that they are also not seeing the buttons as well. It is affecting the buttons in the navigation too: here is a screenshot
  • So how can we re-create this issue on our side? We checked on 4 different computers and all is good. We also asked our college to check this for us and he confirmed that icons works fine. So we really do not have idea why it does not work on your side.
  • i do appreciate your checking on all those different devices. I don't know what to say - even on a phone using chrome they do not show but they display on every other browser. Would it be something where i uploaded the file that shows all those icons? I am sort of at a loss.... Has anyone else encountered this issue??
  • hi - this is happening on firefox as well. I was logged in to the site and could see them but as soon as i logged out they are not showing. I re-uploaded the fonts folder and no change. It is not displaying ANY of the mfn-icons! So all of the arrows in my navigation, all social buttons, all icons in buttons are not showing!  Could you please verify that there is not a bug or problem with the mfn-icons and how do i fix this?? I have an active site!!!! thanks

Same problem, happened a few days ago - icons not displaying - is this a web font issue?

When I look at it in Firebug, all the icons appear as squares.
  • @2TD We checked mfn-icons and all is fine. We checked your site once again and it's ok as well. We completely do not see anything wrong. Under FF everything looks the same as under Chrome. We even checked Safari, Opera and IE and also works properly.

@ripski We appreciate if you can do not write under the topic that is not related with the problem you got. Your problem is related with CORS library. It's something completely different.
  • thanks muffingroup - i really do appreciated your swift response and checking in to this matter. I still don't see the icons on chrome but i am hoping it is just some weird setting i have on my browser? In any event thanks again and i will just keep an eye on it and hope that it was just a fluke ;)
  • Hi - i am still not seeing the icons and i just saw this error when checking in chrome again:
    ccfwg.org:
Font from origin 'http://ccwomenandgirls.org' has been blocked from loading by Cross-Origin Resource Sharing policy: No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource. Origin 'http://ccfwg.org' is therefore not allowed access.
Could you tell me how to resolve it?
  • Sorry, it seemed to be a similar issue.

FYI. I have found the cause - we use a (paid for) lightbox plugin called WP Pro Lightbox. Bought from CodeCanyon. It was recently updated and now when it is active, the icons do not display.
  • @2TD If you see this error, it means that CORS was disabled on your server and you must contact with your admin. More details about that you can read on http://enable-cors.org/server.html

@ripski If it's plugin's issue, then please contact with plugin's author.
  • issue resolved ! thanks ;)
  • @2TD We're glad to hear that ;)
