Colours not applying when selected custom skin

Hello guys

I have several questions but I haven´t found solution at the forum, sorry if there´s something about it: I can´t find it.

The first one is that even that I´ve chosen different colours with custom skin, they´re not applying ¿what I´m doing wrong?
The second one is that I want to change the header of the single portfolio items using layouts. I´ve created one, but even that I choose it at options/custom layout, it´s not working.

I´ve loaded the Animals demo.

    Hi,

    1) Maybe you forgot to set CUSTOM SKIN under Theme options > Colors > General section? Custom colors works only when custom skin is selected.

    2) Custom layouts for single portfolio pages can be set under Theme options > Blog, Portfolio & Shop > Portfolio section where Single Project | Layout ID field is.

    Hi

    1) Custom Skin is selected but even that I´ve changed colours, it´s not working. I´m using Animals demo and I want to change colour borders on featured image at single posts, carrousel post, etc. Also at underlined menu.
    2) About single project: I´ve created a Layout named "sample", so I put the Layout name at the Layout ID, but it doesn´t works properly.
