I need to create a Child Theme for Betheme, correct? If I update betheme without a child theme, will I loose all my customization?

Am I able to add a Google Maps Link for an address in the Action Bar?

Hi,

It depends what customizations you mean. If you are planning to customize theme files, then child theme is good choice. However, if you mean just simple css customizations, you can do them under Theme options > Custom CSS & JS > Custom CSS section and all are stored in database so you won't lose them while theme update.

Oops, sorry for that. We missed your 2nd question. However, links in action bar you can in "Slogan" field. That's the only place where you can set links.

So I got the link to work, am I able to add an icon in front of the link, just like the phone number and email links?

I tried using short code [icon type="icon-address"] and it didn't work. Any other alternatives?

Shortcodes are not allowed in those fields. You can use html tags instead, like:

<i class="icon-address"></i>
