What is the functional difference between a wrap and a section

I'm looking through your documentation, and i'm not understanding the functional difference between a wrap and a section?

Would you explain please?

  • Hi,

SECTION is the most important part of Muffin Builder. If you look at our main demo http://themes.muffingroup.com/betheme/, especially Why you'll love our theme?
section you see the section. It is a part of page where you can set own
background image, color, top & bottom margins, etc. All details
about section item you can check on http://themes.muffingroup.com/betheme/documentation/#section

    WRAP
is a part of section. A lot of our customers were asking about the
WRAPS because they want to have different items for example on left side
and different on the right side. So basically, WRAP is a part of
SECTION where you can put items. For example you want 3 different items
on the right but only 2 items on the left side and that's what for WRAP
    items are.
  • Thank you, that's clear!

The Enfold theme by Kriesi, has an object called a "grid". This is a row of boxes that do not float when the screen changes shape or size. They will shrink down instead.

Is there an equivalent here or a way to duplicate that using wraps or sections and their settings?
  • Let me be more precise. They are a single row of content blocks that float but each one does not clear when the site goes responsive. So if you have 3 of them they always sit:
    cell 1  cell 2  cell 3

no matter the screen size instead of
    cell 1
    cell 2
    cell 3

when the screen gets narrow enough to go into responsive layout.
  • For our theme we do not have anything like that included so far. We'll consider something similar while future updates.
  • Is this anywhere on the roadmap yet?
  • What would you like to know? The grid breaks, you cannot have a element that will not break.
