Slider images blurry on Ipad

After updating WordPress to 4.4 and BeThemes to 10.8, some/many of the images in the simple/content sliders(placed on the portfolio pages) are very blurry on my Ipad. This wasn't the case before updating.
They are fine on my mobile and desktop

For example:
The first image is fine, but the second one is very blurry. They are both about the same width and are slightly different in height (835 × 899 and 834 × 692)
the first image is even more blurry, than the example above, while being bigger.

I tried the "Force Regenerate Thumbnails" plugin, reupload the image, and remove all custom css, but that didn't work

Also; this was happening before updating, and is still happening:
The slider doesn't always adjust its height according to the image.
Sometimes, the text beneath the slider stays in place and creates a big white space between the slider and text

  • Hi,

    1) What is the url to example page where images are blurry? The screenshots you gave us above are completely unnecessary. We need url to example where images are blurry.

    2) On which page can we see this slider issue? We did checked your homepage where the slider is but we did not noticed anything like that.
  • Hi!

    1) The urls above are links to the example pages, not screenshots.

    2) It's not the slider on the homepage. It's the slider I used for the portfolio. Called the "Content Slider" on your shortcodes page. But just "Slider" when you add it in the muffin builder
But like I said it doesn't happen everytime and doesn't happen often.
  • To clarfiy on point 1:
The portfolio items are indeed screenshots, but those screenshots are the ones getting blurred in the slider on the Ipad
I modified the slider with custom css found on this forum, so the arrows overlap the image(no white space on the left and right). Maybe thats what got you confused.
  • 1) So if above links are to pages where images are blurry, we do not see anything wrong on the iPad. Images looks the same on all devices. Of course, they are not sharp but this is how your images looks like what you can see on http://www.frostfirestudios.nl/ClientDemo/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/2-Jongens-van-Beheer-SEO-websiteteksten.jpg and theme does not have any impact on it. You can switch to any default theme and you will see that images would look exactly the same. The is just the original size and look of the uploaded image.

    2) Ok, we get it now. We were not sure what you mean. This is how this slider supposed to work. If you want, you can set fixed height with below css but this is not how this slider supposed to work:
    .content_slider.flat { width: 800px !important; }
