Hi,

category.php file is not necessary. If you need it, you can create this file yourself because it's optional. For posts is responsible index.php file and that one is the most important and necessary for proper working. If you would explain what exactly you wish to do, we will see if there is a workaround.

Category filtering simply does not work because you used jQuery filtering and pagination at the same time. These both are technically incompatible. You can only use one of them. So please decide if you want to use jQuery filtering or pagination.

The problem persist because in fact you have more items than this item is displaying. You should set much larger number of items per page than you have. We usually set something like 999. Looks like you are displaying 12 items only.

You probably did not set Bog page properly as it has been described on http://themes.muffingroup.com/betheme/documentation/#blog and that's why you got a problem with all pages that are related with blog.

Ok, looks like your blog page is ok. We have 2 suggestions now. Please turn off all extra plugins. But if this won't help, please switch to default WP theme and check if categories does not work with default theme as well.
