Hello,

I wonder how I can choose when using the muffin builder with mp4 video, how to deactivate auto play, loop, muted etc. (controls of video).

Hi,

unfortunately it is not possible with html5. This can be done only with Slider Revolution plugin which is included into theme.

No, we don`t have anything like that and to be honest we have never seen any similar options for mp4 videos.

Can you tell me where I would change the code to override open in mute? I just spent the entire day uploading videos and they all open muted.

I forgot to mention that the problem is there is not a volume control when viewing the video on an android mobile device. This makes the sound impossible to turn on when viewing a video on a mobile device.

Sound with html5 videos is not available. So this won`t work at all.

I was quite simply asking where to change the mute="muted" to mute="false" within the muffingroup code.

This is the browser interpreted code from jquery.jplayer.min.js

This is really quite simple

I needed the video to open with sound turned on and looping turned off

The file that controls these functions within the Be Theme is theme-shortcodes.php

You can find that file here

wp-content/themes/betheme/functions/theme-shortcodes.php

The controls are on line# 3696

To stop mute and looping I removed them from this line. (entering false had no effect)

controls="controls" muted="muted" preload="auto" loop="true" autoplay="true" style="max-width:100%

Changed to

controls="controls" preload="auto" autoplay="true" style="max-width:100%

Now the volume is turned on and looping is turned off

This also works properly now on my android and iphone

Another, more correct way IMHO:

1. Use child theme
2. Put modified video tag code from wp-content/themes/betheme/functions/theme-shortcodes.php with your own needed params to child themes functions.php.

This method avoid to overwrite your modification in upgrade.
