Remove menu & meta from blog page

Hello, I am trying to remove two things from the blog page:
1 // The menu at the top that says "Filter by" and gives the options for categories, tags, etc.
and
2 // The meta for the posts (this is greyed out in Theme options so I cannot turn it off in there)

1. To remove filters, please use below css:
#Filters { display: none !important; }2. But to remove post meta, below css will be useful:.post-meta { display: none !important; }
