Unable To Import Demo Content
Happy New Year guys,
First of all, great theme, I love it!
I am trying to install the theme for a friend but am unable to import the demo content. I have managed to make it work on a sub domain on my own server and it worked fine. But when I log into my friends' site and try to import demo date the page goes blank. I assumed it could just be very slow to upload so I left it a while and nothing.
I have tried various methods after reading this forum and have tried unzipping and uploading xml files but still had the blank screen. I contacted my friends' hosting provider as it seems to be something with their server not being compatible. They have told me that they have now updated PHP to version 5.5 and have added a php.ini file. I have tried since then but am still unable to get the demo theme. I exported the demo from my sub domain and tried to import the xml, this did bring test photo and wording that I used across to the friends' site but did not change the look to match the gym demo, it still looked like the default.

looks like your server is not fully compatible with WordPress. Demo settings can not be imported automatically because your server does not work with wp_remote_get() function which uses loopbacks. In such case, you must import settings manually because you have default footer active instead of the custom one we made especially for this demo.
If default WordPress importer don't work please contact with hosting administrator
