Bug with portfolio number ordering.

Hey guys,

I wanted to shoot you a quick email over a Bug we encountered while using the muffin builder, more specifically with the portfolio element. The issues occurs when cycling through the portfolio items using the arrow tabs, the bug can be described as follows, ( the portfolio items do not seem to follow any real order despite that the items ordered the items if the items in the portfolio exceed 4+ , the profiow will only tab through 4 items ”at random” or not cycle through at all,) we had our devs looked into this quite a lot, and think it could be one of two things.

( 1.) there is a setting that isn’t apparent.

Or

(2.) theres is a scripting issue with either the .php or possibly the javascript.

We could be wrong, but please let us know whats going on,

Hi Michael,

for portfolio items we use get_adjacent_post() WP function. This function is looking for posts in current category only and this behave can not be changed unfortunately.

I checked to ensure that all of the portfolio items were assigned the proper category; I it appears that the WP function is working when we render the main page that lists all of the items in a category.

The issue has to do with the ability to cycle through each of the items in a category.

We are sorry but we did not found anything wrong unfortunately. We did checked it on our side where everything is fine. If you send us access to your dashboard and FTP privately we may have a look on it on your side.
