Change header background

Is it possible to update the background of the header, so I can use the Modern style - but with just a plain background that doesn't have the little image on the right side?

The part that makes the header look like a kind of like a flag or a little step. I just want it to be a solid plain background across the whole header.

This is right top bar and can be easily deactivated under Theme options > Header & Subheader > Extras section.
