how to change the sub menu hover backgound color

So if you hover over the the link, the background turns green.

.header-simple #Top_bar #menu ul li:hover { background: #000 !important; }

that's not the code i was looking for. This changes the whole background of the link, i was trying to change only the written colour

"Written"? Does it mean text color? This topic was related with "Hover Background Color" and as we can see above, you wrote "i am trying to solve the same issue". So do you mean hover background just like the topic says or you mean text color what means it's something different.

Yes you are right! I mean only the text colour.

i'm very sorry i didn't undestand that there are two types of hover codes, the background and the text. I was looking for the text hover.

Ok, so to change text color, please use the following css instead:
