Padding at the top of the page

Hello,

I am creating a landing page with a revolution slider but I keep getting a line at the top of the page above the slider. I have tried doing it with the visual composer, with the muffin builder, and what you see now is the content builder by itself. ( the wordpress box with a shortcode)

but none of them remove it, so I assume it is something of the theme.

when I inspect the element I can't seem to see there is any type of padding or anything like that. ANY HELP PLEASE?

Hi,

this padding is there because of your extra css:

.sections_group {margin-top: 10px}

which is wrong btw.

I created that CSS because I had to increase the size of the logo, which was showing to be too small.

Then what happened is that the logo would expand over the content ( mostly in the portfolio grid view)

that's why I created that CSS, can you maybe help me out with another better solution??

It's wrong because it's not closed. If you don't know what's wrong exactly, we recommend to do some css courses http://www.w3schools.com/css/ to know the basics.

In reference to 2nd question, what solution you are looking for exactly? Do you mean to increase header's height?

I just don't want the content to be further down so that the logo is not floating on top of the content.

The only thing you can do in this case is to move the content down what can be done with extra css only:

#Content { margin-top: 50px !important; }

Except above solution, we do not have other work around.
