[Solved] Can I set default width of body text w/o restricting image size too?

edited March 2016 in Blog
I'm wanting to have my blog posts look like the NY Times in regard to how they use larger photos than the actual body of text.. I think it works very well and breaks up the content a bit. But I don't want to have to use the Muffin Builder every time I make a post. I just want to use the basic text input that WordPress provides so I can copy/paste my article from Word then quickly add in the photos where needed.

What I'm wanting to know is for blog posts specifically, is there any way to change the default line length just for the body text while the photos placed in the article naturally expands to 'large' or 'medium' that're predefined by wordpress?

Again, I just want to copy/paste text in, add the photos from the media library and be done with it instead of having to spend a lot of time structuring each blog post.

Thanks.
