if you mean Be|Event demo, we did not used any plugins here. It's just the content of Muffin Builder. When you edit pages, it's located under Page Options section. But if you mean the last item which is "LATEST NEWS AND EVENTS" section, it's posts and all are located under Posts section.
You can try to use the plugin like The Events Calendar because this is the only plugin that is especially for events. But if in your opinion, wordpress posts should have this possibility, just drop your message to Wordpress developers.
