Do you mean grey are between the menu and the content or grey area under each post where "Read more" button is?

Ok. So to remove grey between menu and the content, you need to use the following css:

body:not(.template-slider) #Header { min-height: 90px !important; }

But to change background color of section where Read More is, you need to use the following css:

.post-footer { background: #000 !important; }
