Is there a way to remove the quotes and lines between text?

Hi,

to remove lines and blockquote from Testimonials item, you need to use the following css:

blockquote::after { background: none !important; }
blockquote { background: none !important; }

I have tried adding the above css to the template custom CSS area - I want to remove the red lines from this page: but it's not working...what am I doing incorrectly?

Yes, you can remove them with the following css:

.testimonials_list .item .desc hr.hr_color { display: none !important; } /* removes line */
.testimonials_list .item .desc hr.hr_color { background: #000 !important; } /* changes it's color */
.testimonials_list .item .desc hr.hr_color { margin-left: 30% !important; } /* moves line to the right side */
