Add Search Bar to Secondary Menu

Hi there!

Working on a site and wondering if it's possible to add a search bar to the righthand side of the Secondary Menu/Action Bar area (above main navigation). We've disabled the search icon from the min navigation, as we don't want it to display there.

We'd like for the search bar to always show, not just as an icon.

Appreciate any help!

Hi,

it's not possible unfortunately. To put search in Action Bar, you need to modify theme files.

What you ask for requires files customization what in reference to Item Support Policy is not allowed. So if you want to modify files and don't know how, you should contact with your web developer.

P.S. For the Action Bar is responsible includes/header-top-area.php file.
