Disable hover links on images

How can I disable the links the slide up function when you hover over the images? I still want the links to work. I just dont want the chain/magnifying glass icons to slide up. Also need to make the featured image in the single post pages display without being cut off in the gray bordered box. Please advise.

I actually want to disable completely. It does same thing on related posts thumbnail.

Ok. So to do what you need, please use the following css:

.image_frame .image_wrapper .image_links { top: 0 !important; }
.image_frame:not(.no_link) .image_wrapper img:not(.ls-l) { margin-bottom: 0 !important; }
.image_frame .image_wrapper img:not(.ls-l) { top: 0 !important; }

Ok that didn't work. Now the icons are visible on the top of the images. Please view.
