Subheader Parallax Image

Hello,

How do i change the parallax image found in the subheader on the individual pages? If I add a Subheader | Image to the page under the media section it will replace the subheader image but it's static and not a parallax effect.

we are sorry but we do not have parallax feature for subheader backgrounds included unfortunately.

The default demo has the image as a parallax feature. Isn't that a bit misleading then?

Really? Where did you found parallax in subheader section then? We would be grateful if you can send us link to such page because you are probably talking about something else but we need to have a look on it first to be sure.

Maybe this isn't a subheader area but instead a background image that is behind the subheader divwith a transparent background on the div. The link below shows what I'm referring to. The purple image that resides behind the "About" text is what i'm trying to update on individual pages.

If this is just a background image, how would one change the image on an individual page?

So this is just a background image and to set individual subheader background for each page, you need to do this under Page Options > Media > Subheader | Image field.

I've done this on the services page which you can see at the link below.

The problem is that the content doesn't slide over the image in a parallax effect like it does on the about page. I have set the image to the same size of the image on the about page. 1920x700.

Can this effect be achieved or is it only possible with the default demo?

The only difference we see is Fixed position of background on http://binaimpression.wpengine.com/about/ so if you want to get the same effect, you need to set fixed position for subheader background under Theme options > Header & Subheader > Subheader section.
