images are zoomed in + thumbnail sizes

edited July 2016 in Revolution Slider
I am using Betheme templates and the site is looking awesome so far.
The website is http://kajariatiles.com.au/

3 issues i am facing so far

1. Front page Main Picture/s still appear very heavily zoomed.
2. The main menu is on the top of slider images and got mixed up with the images, is there any way i can add bar of some transparent effect and the menu content on the top of it so that they stay stand out from slider images
3. The thumbnail size and the title under the thumbnail size is small, how can i increase it.

Please advise

  • I have managed to fix the 3rd issues, could you please advise
    1. how can i make the slider images to look without zoomed in
    2. Main menu with bar on the top of slider to stand out.

    thanks

  • Please advise any help on the above issues?
  • regarding menu, what settings i need to pick to get a menu like http://renovation.progressionstudios.com/
  • Is there someone to answer these queries or not?
  • Hi,

at first, we would appreciate if you can do not spam one topic with so many messages and questions "when we answer". We recommend to check our profile's page http://themeforest.net/user/muffingroup where all details about what time and when we work are. If you will check, you see that we do not work on the weekends so messages as above, are completely unnecessary.

Anyway, below we are going to reply on your questions:

    1. The image you used for slider background is only 800x600px what you can see on http://kajariatiles.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/slider1_1.jpg - so how you expect this image to be? Because we are not sure. If you use such small images, and the slider extends them to edges, pictures must lose their quality.

    2. To stand out the logo, you need to use Overflow Logo option under Theme options > Global > Logo section.
  • I appreciate your answer thanks
Could you advise me the optimal size of image to to be used for slider without compromising the quality?
  • We usually recommend to use FULL HD images (1920x1080px).
  • Thanks, I followed your advise regarding the "overflow logo" but this is not actually what i want, maybe I didn't put my words properly.

    all I want is

either a transparent layer/bar behind the menu so that the menu stand out from the slider images
or if I could get a look and feel like a fixed header (when i scroll the site up)

My whole motive is to make the menu stand out from the slider as the text disappear when images beneath it changes with lighter background e.g. 2nd image with lamp or 4th image of swimming pool

    Much appreciated
    thanks
    Manraj
  • Ok, so if that's what you mean, it's not possible unfortunately.
