Problem with post-based slider

Hi, i've installed journalist demo on a site, and i was using its post-based slider without a problem, but recently out of nowhere it started not showing the posts i need.

I had it set up to take a specific category and max to 4 posts from that category and ordered by descending post ID. But recently it doesn't load the latest post on that category, even if in the config of the slider it says there are 4 slides in that cat, it shows only 3 and no the last one (only if i change the settings to order in ascending, which is not what i need), if i set it to descending it only shows the last post of that cat and not the others.-the plugin stills tells me there are 4 posts with this cat-

I've tried reinstalling revolution slider to the latest version that comes with betheme, but had no luck, i also made my own slider with the same settings and nothing.

Any clue?

Hi,

after slider import, please make sure that you set Post types and Post categories what is necessary for this kind of sliders. Just like on this screenshot http://pasteboard.co/1fdXe7lx.png

I've done that and it worked perfectly, but suddenly it doesnt.

I've tried installing then new version of revolution slider and making a new slider from scratch but it didn't work.

Notice that i've set the slider to show the lastest 4 posts. But it only shows one
