Featured images and Title length

First of all my appreciation for the developers of Be theme, you guys have done an awesome job. Be is an awesome theme with loads of possibilities. i have one issue which i can not sort out and need help.

when you click on the above given category link you will see that posts are not well formatted, all featured images are external images and have been set as featured image using auto post thumbnail plugin. What i want to accomplish is, i want all the images to be of exact size, so all looks in correct layout, control the length of the title of posts to certain characters, and control the length of excerpts.

Please help me achieve this, i have tried loads of options using third party plugins but nothing worked as i wanted.

Hi,

if you want all images to be same sizes, you need to upload same sized images or even same proportions so the Wordpress may cut them properly same way.

what about the other two parts, title and excerpt limit. Also in case my images are not of same size, what is the best possible way to have them all to display in perfect alignment, so the page look good

What about the title and excerpt limit? Both are fine and we are not sure what you mean. But about images, there is no other way to have the images exactly same size. Of course you can set hard crop under Theme options > Blog, Portfolio & Shop > Featured Image section but it probably won't make images same sizes if the difference between them is large.

for titles on this page, you will see some posts have big titles some have short, how can i limit the number of words of title to show on the category pages.

We are sorry but you can not change the length of the titles. The only thing you can do is change the length of excerpt under Theme options > Blog, Portfolio & Shop > Blog section.
