Changing color of predefined color-set like in accordion(VC) "sky"

Hi there,
we already spent much time to find a solution by ourselfs, perhaps someone has a solution.
We setup a complete project and normally the color-options are really fine for all purposes.
We need a solution to change the color which is behind one of the predefined colors in f.e. accordion where you can only choose between
"yellow", "blue" or "sky". We setup the whole project which has 166 pages and worked with the color "sky".
Unfortunatly now the client wants to change the color sky to a hex-based color.
Is it possible to change the color "sky" to a hex-based one with some css rules?!
Hope someone can help us!

For the rest we can say, betheme is really the best theme we ever worked with. Porjects make fun and you did really a great job guys!
My thumbs up for your work!
Regards,
Ron

  • Hi Ron,

what you ask for, requires lot's of customization in theme files. So if you really want to do this, you need to do all necessary changes under /skins/COLOUR/style.css file. But as far as we know, we do not have any pre-defined sky color.

    Thanks!
  • Hi Muffins,
    thanks for response.
You can see it if you open VC, place an accordion and change the color.
There you can choose from colors which are named and predefined, unfortunatly you cant customize it.
So the question is how to change "sky" to another hex-based color.
I will check out your suggestion... but is there perhaps another way to customize espacialley the colour of the accordion?
There are other modules that either work with those named, predefined, not customizable color sets, and all modules we choose sky. now the client just wants another hexbased color. We thought it will save us much time if we can tell sky to be an other color via css.
Any Ideas? Please give it a try, or tell us please how to set those modules like accordion in vc to a customizable color.
    Thanks in advance
    Ron
  • Ok, we see what you mean. However, what you ask for, is not possible unfortunately.
  • Hi roncomdoo,
the colors your are talking about are defined in the visual Composer plugin itself
in over 800 different documents by the way …
