How can I change the colors of the custom menus in the left sidebar on this site, generated by use of the "Custom Menu" widget?

Hi,

you can change it's color with the following css:

.widget_archive ul, .widget_nav_menu ul { background: #000 !important; }
.widget_archive ul li a, .widget_nav_menu ul li a { color: #FFF !important; }
.widget_archive ul li::after, .widget_nav_menu ul li::after { border-color: #FFF !important; }
.widget_nav_menu ul { color: #FFF !important; }

Can I also change the font and font size?

You can change it's font size only with the following css:

.widget_archive ul li a, .widget_nav_menu ul li a { font-size: 20px !important; }
