You are wrong. If you will read the doc more carefully, you will understand that blog page can be defined under Settings > Reading section and it doesn't need to be your front page obviously. The posts can be on any page you want.

The problem is that that doc page requires that I set the Blog page to be my front page, and I don't want to.
I have a different front page that should stay clear of posts, and my blog is an inner section of the website.
How can I fix it?
