Creating an upper menu for BePrint

Hi - I'm trying to follow these directions to create an upper menu for my site based on Be Print: http://forum.muffingroup.com/betheme/discussion/2864/how-to-create-secondary-menu-in-the-right-top-section-where-action-bar-is#latest

I've create a menu called Upper Menu, and assigned it to the Social Menu, but it's not showing up.
