  Hi,
  
  I have tried to use it on the following page http://www.digitalised.com/services/#lighting (please use IP 82.145.38.105 as it is not life yet). It is just the 'Button' button with the file referenced in the 'Download' field.

  But as you can see on http://pasteboard.co/iHJj31tto.png it works fine and doesn't replace the signs you said above.

  The problem is it is trying to open it is a HTML, not PDF and when I try to open it in Acrobat Reader I get this, http://pasteboard.co/jcc828EHF.png

  Ok, got it. We downloaded this file and found that it's damaged and that's why couldn't be opened.

  Hmm I don't think it is damaged, it is problem with any file that I link, for example if you go to, http://www.digitalised.com/downloads/lighting-solutions-brochure-rev-e.pdf you can get to the file, if I put that as a link on the download button it doesn't work, it changes the / to - http://pasteboard.co/bUDgkGLS.png

  Hmm, we did checked once again and found one thing that we overlooked recently. The link for the file supposed to be set under href="" attribute. Download attribute, is the name of the file that should be named after download. More details about download attribute you can find on http://www.w3schools.com/tags/att_a_download.asp
