menu dropdown doesn't fit on screen

I have lots of submenu items, and it's dropping out of the screen size.

Is there a way to fix? Maybe with CSS?

Pretty inexperienced with CSS, but would love some detailed instruction if that's what needs to be done.

Hi,

if you have lot's of sub-menu items and would like to squeeze them, we suggest to use Mega Menu instead. We mean something you can see on main demo http://themes.muffingroup.com/betheme/ when you hover over Shortcodes menu items. Except that, we do not have any other solution.

VC mega menu does not seem to work.

The developer who started this site before me used a child theme...not sure if that's relevant.

I also see wp mega menu and max mega menu. Do you recommend one of those?

Would be super helpful if there is a simple CSS fix...

No, we mean mega menu as you can see on http://themes.muffingroup.com/betheme/ (hover over SHORTCODES menu item). If you have child theme installed, this could be the reason of course but to be sure, switch to parent theme and check.

I still don't understand.
I hover over 'Shortcodes' and....are just wanting me to see that I should split it into columns like you have there?

If so, I know! That's what i'm wanting to do and don't know how.

Or were you wanting me to see a "mega menu" item on that list of shortcodes? There isn't one.

Is the mega menu functionality from muffin? It's built into the theme? How do I use it?

I don't see a mega menu option anywhere in the Betheme options

Yes, this mega menu is included into theme and all details about creating similar mega menu you can find in the doc where we gave you link already http://themes.muffingroup.com/betheme/documentation/#menu - please take a look into doc and find the following section:

For Mega Menu columns you must add each menu item using a # "URL" attribute and - as the"Navigation label" value. Under the empty columns you can add the correct menu items.

But if you want columns with "Titles" at the top, then instead of a dash (-),you must type in your own value.

This explains how to create same mega menu.
