A couple sidebar-layout questions

Am currently working with your theme (based off the museum demo settings) for a client and have run into a couple things I can't seem to find where to edit.

http://174.132.121.226/~tmonkey/clients/exhibits/  This is how I want to setup my general layout (this will then get reproduced for all subpages).
I first tried a setup without the sidebar but that did not allow me to add the "recent posts" widget anywhere - unless there is a shortcode I have missed? If yes, that would fix everything ;)

If there isn't a recent posts shortcode, is there any chance I can display all widgets (including their title!) in white boxes like I did here with the Muffin builder?

I would really prefer the first version (as I like the wider boxes) but if that does not work due to lack of a recent post shortcode, the smaller sidebar version would work as well.

Thanks in advance, loving this theme so far, so many possibilities!

    I am aware that I can use the sidebar widget Item, however that makes it impossible to use the layout with two boxes on the left and one large content box on the right.
    So I really hope there is a shortcode to put the recent posts in a column item without having to use a widget box.

    Hi,

    the only way to put recent posts is "Sidebar widget" as you mentioned above and unfortunately nothing similar is not possible. This is the only way to put this item.

    Never mind, I found a way to do it by using the AMR Shortcode Anything Plugin I can just get shortcodes for any widgets and they work on ALL pages & most important within Muffin Builder :)
