No option to activate BeTheme

in Theme support
I wanted to activate the copy of BeTheme that I purchased on CodeCanyon, but when I look under "Appearance" in the WP backend, there is no option titled "Theme License"

I'd like to figure this out, because I assumed I would get automatic updates of the theme when I purchased it.

    Hi,

    we have no idea where did you saw an information about registering BeTheme because we do not have anything like this included. Also we do not have an auto-update feature included into theme itself because it's not so stable and safe as manual or FTP updates. When you do the update yourself, you have better control on what is happening and if all files has been transferred properly. During the auto-updates, you do not have such control and that’s why such update process may bring more harm than good. We have used it for a while in the past but we found it’s not safe enough and that’s why we decided to remove it.

    I saw this in the BeTheme documentation and assumed auto updates were possible.

    The link you pasted above is FAKE and has nothing to do with the theme. The only and the original documentation of the BeTheme, you can find on http://themes.muffingroup.com/betheme/documentation/ (exactly the same one is included into theme package).
