Is it possible to add a header image to a category page?

I am trying to add an imager header on this page http://dev.alligatorhall.com/category/outdoors/ and haven't been able to get any images to pull. I have tried adding a featured image, a header image in the options and a revolution slider through the settings.

Do you want to set individual header backgrounds for individual categories or same background for all categories?

Individual headers is what I would like.

Ok, so to set up different headers for individual categories, you need to use the following custom css:

.category-outdoors #Header_wrapper { background: url('PATH-TO-BACKGROUND') !important; }

where instead of bold part (outdoors in above css) you need to use category names per different categories.

But to display these header backgrounds, you need to disable Minimalist option under Theme options > Header & Subheader > Header section.

Ok, is there a way to set a picture up as pallarax by doing this?

Also on the home page after minimalist is removed it creates a space on top of the header, how can I remove this?

Sorry but we do not have any solution to set up parallax doing this. But about the space, where would like to remove this? Sorry but we are not sure what you mean.

If you look on dev.alligatorhall.com there is a black strip under the menu inbetween the menu and the slider, I want the slider to touch the slider images so that this black strip is not there.

This is header's background and to disable it, you need to select Minimalist option under Theme options > Header & Subheader > Header section.
