Getting blog pages to match other pages

edited December 2016 in Theme support
Hi there,

I'm having a some trouble getting the header section of my single post blog pages to match all other pages, even though both are setup exactly the same. I figure I'm missing a setting within BeTheme Options but can't seem to locate it. The issue is that I'd like for the same Revolution Slider to appear in the same way on a single post blog page as it does on my home page. Here's a link to the home page:

Here's a link to what a single post blog page looks like:

On the above blog page I have the same Revolution Slider selected as the home page but yet it does not appear. As well, all post content appears too high, over top of my navigation. How do I get the revolution slider to appear on this blog have with all blog content displayed below the slider?

Thanks for any help with this,

T

  • Hi,

    the slider you ask for, won't display the same on post page as on home because these are totally different post types. If you will select the slider for post page, it would appear instead of the featured image in the content. But the content overlap header because you set transparent header and this is how it supposed to work so we do not see anything wrong here. So if you don't like how it looks like on single posts, or you need to select different header type or use the following css to move the content down:
    .single-post #Content { padding-top: 200px !important; }
  • Thanks for the info. So if I use the css you provided to move the content form, is it possible to display an image behind my transparent header? I don't care of its a slider or a just a plain image. Currently the heat background is white, which defeats the purpose of using a transparent header. Any further help with this would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    T
  • Please disregard my last, I got it all sorted. I removed the slider altogether, then uploaded a header background image, set it to "cover" and put a checkmark in BeTheme options/Global/General/Background/Topbar with menu. This achieves the look I was aiming for on all pages, including Posts.
