Implementing a Forum

Hey guys,

even though I've been using WordPress for a few months now I'm still relatively new to it, I'm also not a developer or anything.

What do you think is the easiest way to integrate a forum to my current WP site running on BeTheme? Is there a way to make a "sub-site" and using the forum there or do I have to get a second domain, put the forum on there and basically link from one site to another? It doesn't need to be an extensive forum with tons of features.

Any help would be much appreciated.

    in our opinion, sub-domain would be much better if the forum need to be closely related with site and it's content.

    So you mean something like forum.mysite.com? Because this would also be my favorite way to go. I just don't really know how to implement a forum to such a kind of subsite made with Betheme, maybe you have an advice or recommendation here as well :)

    Yes, you can do it the way you mentioned above. However, if you don't know how to do this, you need to contact with your web developer because you need to decide what kind of forum platform you want to use and then install it.
