section height defined by background image

is there still no solution to this problem:
I want to create a section with a background image. I want the background image to define the section height so that the background image is ALWAYS (on whatever screen) shown in full dimension (full-width and its height). With the normal section content padding fields it won't work, because of course every screen will show a different amount of the image.
I could also just use a picture item and make it fullscreen, but than I can't use the fixed-position option.
So I want a fixed section which shows only my backgroundimage in full dimensions....lika a banner.

section is always the height as the content inside and you can not stretch it's height with background image. So if included padding option doesn't work they way you wish, we do not have any other workaround to make it possible.
